The Fitness Center is open five days a week when classes are in session. Hours may change when classes are not in session.
Regular hours during the academic year are as follows:
- Monday - Friday - 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday - 10Â a.m. - 5 p.m.
Summer hours are as follows:Â
- Monday - Friday -Â 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Saturday - 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Facility Rules:
In addition to facility rules outlined below, the SUNY Morrisville Fitness Center will be practicing the following for use of the facility until further notice:
* All center users must have available their ID card for access
* Cleaning supplies have been made available to all facility users and it is expected that prior to, and following use, equipment be cleaned appropriately
- Â The Fitness Center is a member-only facility
- Â All members are required to swipe their ID Card for fitness center access
- Â Minimum age for membership is 18 with exception of full-time college students
- Â Members are encouraged to ask staff for assistance with first use of unfamiliar equipment
- Â Users must wipe down all equipment after each use
- Â No food, snacks or candy may be brought into the fitness center
- Â The Fitness Center is not responsible for any lost or stolen items
- Â Valuables, clothing, bags, coats, etc. should be left in the locker room or day-use lockers
- Â Members must use headphones to listen to music during work-outs
- Â All equipment must be returned to its rightful spot after use
- Â Members must use a spotter when lifting heavy weights
- Â Offensive language, misuse of equipment and disrespect to staff or other users will not be tolerated
- Â Do no drop or throw weights. Weights must be lowered in a controlled motion
- Â Report injuries or broken equipment to fitness center attendant immediately
- Â Failure to comply with the rules will lead to dismissal from the fitness center
