High School -  Played three seasons for Central Valley Academy as a defensive lineman and on the offensive line … was a two-time first team All-League selection at defense … also competed in basketball for three seasons where his team were C-2 Section III Champions … earned second team All-League honors as a senior … played baseball for three years and was a first team All-League selection his senior season.
