MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville Athletics Department has announced its academic highlights following the spring 2026 semester, naming 150 student-athletes to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the academic term.
Across the department that includes 17 intercollegiate teams, student-athletes posted a 3.050 collective grade point average, reaching an all-time department high mark in a single academic term.
"This recognition represents far more than a 3.30 GPA—it embodies the quiet discipline of early morning study sessions, the resilience to excel both in the classroom and on the field, and the unwavering commitment to being student-athletes in every sense of the word," said Director of Athletics, Matt Grawrock.
"To the 150 student-athletes honored on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll: your dedication proves that excellence knows no single arena. And to the coaches, academic advisors, trainers, and support staff who guide them: your mentorship is the foundation upon which these achievements stand.
"This moment belongs to all of you—a testament to what happens when talent meets hard work, and when a community invests in the whole person, not just the athlete."
Nine of the Mustangs teams recorded a 3.0 or better team grade point average for the spring term, including western equestrian who led the way with an overall team GPA of 3.531.
Softball posted a collective 3.514 mark, followed closely by men's ice hockey at 3.506. Women's soccer registered a team mark of 3.384 for the term, with women's hockey coming in at 3.334, followed by field hockey posting a 3.270 team mark. Volleyball came in at 3.265 followed by a high mark of 3.169 for men's soccer and 3.107 mark for women's basketball.
Across the academic year, Morrisville student-athletes posted a new all-time high collective grade point average, finishing with a 3.048 GPA.
In all, 97 student-athletes achieved a 3.5 or better semester average, with another 22 registering a perfect 4.0 across the term.
The individual student-athletes below earned recognition as part of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. To be named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have achieved a 3.30 grade point average or better (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the academic term.
