MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville women's lacrosse team hosted the Bengals of Buffalo State Tuesday afternoon, before the game was suspended with 4:46 left in the third quarter due to weather, with the Mustangs trailing 13-6.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Buffalo State struck first, but Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.) answered with two free-position goals during a man-up opportunity to give Morrisville a brief lead before the Bengals closed the quarter on a run to go up 5-2.
• The Mustangs battled back behind two more goals from Ingersoll and a man-up finish from Samantha Budney (Pine Bush, N.Y.) to tie it 6-6.
• The Bengals responded with four straight in the final six minutes to take the 10-6 lead into the half.
• Buffalo State extended its advantage with three unanswered goals, before the game was called early due to weather with the Bengals leading 13-6.
• The game will be resumed at a date yet to be announced.
