CANTON, N.Y. – Morrisville traveled to SUNY Canton Saturday afternoon where the Mustangs struggled late in the game ultimately losing 104-66.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Morrisville saw themselves down by 10 at the end of the first quarter after Canton hit two late three-pointers in the final thirty seconds.
• After a back and forth second quarter, the Mustangs entered the half down by 14 despite their strong defensive effort.
• Morrisville struggled early in the third as Canton went on an 11-0 run shortly followed by another 10-0 run, leading to a 31-9 quarter for the Roos.
• The fourth saw high-scoring action resulting in a combined 60-point quarter.
• Despite five three-pointers from the Mustangs in the last ten minutes, they were unable to complete the comeback ultimately losing 104-66.
• Morrisville was led by Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.) who scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
• Abbie Platt (Oneonta, N.Y.) added 17 points and three steals, while Mia Kaltenbach chipped in 11 points.
• Sierra Pabo led the Roos in scoring with 23 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out seven assists.
