WILKES-BARRE, PA – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team dropped a 70-43 non-conference decision to host Kings College Saturday afternoon in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. to wrap up the weeks action.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's basketball dropped a non-conference battle with host Kings College Saturday afternoon in Wilkes-Barre, falling 70-43 come final whistle to the Monarchs.
• Morrisville's Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.) led the Mustangs with 26 points, adding 11 rebounds to complete the double-double.
• Sophia Babcock (Oswego, N.Y.) came off the bench to contribute 10 to Morrisville's efforts.
• Morrisville trailed 20-16 after the opening quarter of the non-league match, but Kings went on a 12-0 run across the middle of the second to open a 15-point gap, one that proved challenging for the Mustangs to overcome as they fell behind 40-23 at the break.
• Kings used a 57% effort from long range in the third to lead by as many as 30, before closing out the fourth with the win over the Mustangs.
• Cadie Lewis led the Monarchs with 18 points, while teammate Gabby Marsola chipped in 14 to lead Kings.
• Claire Aufiero and Lauren Casey controlled the boards with 12 and 14 rebounds, respectively, as Kings held the 55-40 edge on the glass.
