GENESEO, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team resumed play Friday afternoon following the holiday break in the schedule, falling to host SUNY Geneseo by a 74-54 final score in Geneseo in non-conference action.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's basketball played even with the Knights across three quarters of play, including holding the advantage in the fourth, but it wasn't enough as they dropped a 74-54 setback to host Geneseo on the road as they resumed action Friday afternoon.
• Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.) and Jakeira Stackhouse (Liverpool, N.Y.) each collected 15 points to lead the Mustangs in their efforts, Stackhouse's efforts coming on a 6-for-11 performance from the floor off the bench.
• Hannah Bonczkowski (Otego, N.Y.) added seven points and three rebounds, hitting two from long range, while fellow teammate Abbie Platt (Oneonta, N.Y.) added six to go along with three rebounds and two steals.
• Kieonna Christmas (Fultonville, N.Y.) added five points and a team high four rebounds to the efforts, assisting a team high four in the loss.
