MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – For a second time in as many seasons, the SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team will be making an appearance on the national stage after claiming the 2023 United East Championship Title Saturday.
The Mustangs learned of their tournament opponent Monday afternoon during the selection show that they will face D3hoops.com fourth-ranked Smith College, and the tournament's overall top seed, Friday, March 3 at 8:15 p.m. in Northampton, Mass.
St. John Fisher University and Marymount (VA) will battle in the first of the regional games hosted by Smith at 5:45 p.m.
Winners of each match will advance to the second round scheduled for Saturday, March 4 at 7:45 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for seniors, students and children. Children under two years of age will be admitted free. Tickets go on sale an hour prior to the opening tip of the first contest (4:45 p.m.) at the entrance of the Ainsworth Gymnasium.
