MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville head women's lacrosse coach Andrea Cofrin, announced the addition of Morgan Riley to the coaching staff as an assistant for the upcoming 2023 spring season.
 
Riley played four years for Franklin Pierce University where she served as senior year team captain. During her time with the Ravens, Riley earned Northeast-10 Conference Academic Honor Roll honors multiple times, also earning NE10 weekly accolades for play on the field.
 
"I'm excited to have Morgan on staff this season," Cofrin said. "Morgan's energy and love for the game will help us continue to build upon the foundation established by our past alums, and bring us to new heights this season.
 
"Her love for learning and teaching is incredible and we are truly lucky to have Morgan on staff."
 
Aside from her talents on the lacrosse field, Riley served as a student volunteer within the New Hampshire community, and also participated as a student research assistant at Franklin Pierce and intern with various organizations including Helio Health, Samaritan Hospital and Reality Check.
 
Following graduation with a dual degree in psychology and criminal justice, Riley continued her education at Syracuse University where she obtained a masters degree in social work, all while serving as a counselor aid and Counselor 1 at Helio Heath before fulfilling a role as a mitigation specialist for the Center for Community Alternatives.
