Box Score FREODNIA, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's hockey team picked up a 5-2 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) win over host Fredonia Saturday night, rallying for three goals in the third to hand the Blue Devils the league loss on their home ice in Fredonia.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's hockey picked up a 5-2 SUNYAC win Saturday night with a three-goal burst in the third to topple the host Fredonia Blue Devils in league play in Fredonia.
• Morrisville got off to a slow start and found themselves trailing early as Fredonia posted back-to-back scores within the opening five minutes of the contest for an early 2-0 lead.
• The Blue Devils would hold onto the advantage until the 12:41 mark when Trevor Grasby (Holland Landing, Ont.) collected his second of the season, cutting the lead to one.
• Morrisville would send the contest into the second period tied at two with a tally at 19:27 in the opening frame, a tally that came off the stick of Jacob Black (Fergus, Ont.).
• After a scoreless second period, Morrisville and Fredonia headed into the third deadlocked at two, but it was a tally from Jestin Somero (New Ipswich, N.H.) that kicked off a three-goal rally by the Mustangs, leading to the win.
• Somero's score came midway through the period at the 10:50 mark before Curtis Abbott (Belmont, Ont.) added a second of the frame seven minutes later for the two-goal Mustang lead.
• Ryan Glazer (Montreal, Que.) put the game way with his first collegiate tally at 19:14, sealing the 5-2 win for Morrisville.
• Ryan Creenan (Colonia, N.J.) had 19 saves in the win for Morrisville as the Mustangs held the 37-21 advantage in shots on goal on the night.

• Morrisville returns to the ice next weekend on the road at Rivier University. Friday's contest is scheduled for a 7 p.m. opening face-off, followed by 4 p.m. on Saturday.
