  • Morrisville State collected a game total 187 yards on the ground, including 81 from senior Kinsey Williams (Rome, N.Y.) who drove forward for a career high three touchdown scores.
  • Sterling Fitz-Henley (Brentwood, N.Y.) contributed to the Mustangs success in the running game, adding another 57, including a one-yard rushing score in the second.
  • Junior quarterback Bill Flatow (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) had a stellar performance under center, connecting on 15-of-19 passes for a total 214 yards and two scores, his longest, a 22-yard strike to wide out Jermaine Cooper (New York, N.Y.) who collected four receptions for 57 yards and two scores.
  • Toure' Hall Jr. (Stratford, Conn.) pulled in another six receptions for a team high 77 yards, with fellow wide receiver Parrish Durham (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) adding another two receptions for 54 yards.
  • Maurace Morris (Brooklyn, N.Y.) contributed to the passing game as well, connecting on his lone attempt in the game to Durham for the 45-yard gain on the first play of the Mustangs drive.
  • Defensively, the Mustangs limited the Eagles to a total of 284 yards offense, a majority coming in the passing game as quarterback David Morrison completed 16-of-29 passes for 183-yards.
  • His lead target, Tyler Halls, caught four for a team high 81, with tight end Keyshaun Robinson adding another four receptions for 48 yards.
  • Husson was able to gain 101 yards on the ground, with Arthur Brefil posting a net 68 yards on 19 carries.

  • Linebackers Philemon Benjamin (Queens, N.Y.) and Joe Miller-LaBar (Groton, N.Y.) combined for a total 16, Benjamin posting nine, while each recording a quarterback hurry.
  • Chyon Pearsall (Bronx, N.Y.) took down the lone sack of the day, a five yard loss.
  • It was a scoreless first quarter until Morrisville State found its rhythm late in the opening frame and connected with Durham for a 45-yard gain on the fourth down attempt, fueling a 13-yard scramble by Fitz-Henley down to the visitors one on the second quarter drive.
  • Fitz-Henley completed the six play, 68-yard drive with his one-yard dive over the goal line pile for the opening score of the afternoon at the 12:46 mark of the second.
  • Morrisville State dominated the second quarter, adding back-to-back touchdown scores in three minutes time, the first a three-yard rushing score by Williams who walked into the end zone after a big block on the left.
  • Williams added another as time dwindled down before the half, thanks to a 17-yard completion from Flatow to Rory Matz (Port Jervis, N.Y.) who managed to get one foot in while snagging the ball for the diving completion on the one-yard line.
  • Kinsey again found a big block to the left with 11 seconds to go before the half, and extended the Mustang lead to 21-0 at the break.
  • Morrisville State picked up where they left off in the third, adding to the scoreboard as Flatow hit Cooper who was wide open in the center of the end zone for the 22-yard scoring strike, and 28-0 Mustang lead.
  • After forcing Husson to punt on their ensuing possession and limiting the visitors to just three yards total on the drive attempt, Morrisville took advantage of the Eagles fatigue and put together a 73-yard drive that found Hall dancing through three different tackles over 17-yards before being brought down within the red zone.
  • On the next play, Flatow faked the run and went over top to the 6'1" Cooper who had the height advantage on the defense, for the touchdown score.
  • Morrisville State held Husson scoreless for a third straight quarter, limiting the visitors to a total 82 yards offense.
  • Early on in the fourth, though, the Eagles broke through and after receiving a fresh set of downs following a roughing the passer penalty, was able to put one up on the board as Keyshaun Robinson converted the three yard run up center for the score.
  • Morrisville State, though, responded on the ensuing possession and following the foot of Williams combined with a 24-yard reception by Justin Adams (West Babylon, N.Y.), were able to add another touchdown score to their lead.
  • Williams collected his third after pulling in a reception for a 17-yard gain and pounding the ball forward on two-straight carries, for the two-yard rushing score.
  • Husson added one final score as time expired in the final quarter, a one-yard run by Santiago Isaza, to make it a 42-15 Mustang win.
  • Prior to the game, Morrisville State was joiend by the Jorgensen Family, in an effort to raise donations and awareness for the nationwide Coach to Cure MD, Tackle Duchenne program.
