MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville Western Equestrian riders
Maggie Herbert (Jeffersonville, N.Y.) and
Jenna Tyson (Pottstown, Pa.) each posted winning rides Sunday morning, claiming IHSA Regional Championship Titles in their respective show class to advance to the National Championship Semifinals March 22.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- SUNY Morrisville western equestrian earned the Zone 2 Area 23 Regional High Point Team crown Sunday, finishing the season with 213 team points to advance to the IHSA National Semifinals hosted by the University of Findlay March 22 – 24.
- Maggie Herbert (Jeffersonville, N.Y.) topped all riders in the high point rider competition across the year, finishing as the Regional High Point Rider Champion to earn a slot in the IHSA National Finals in May.
- Herbert was a double Regional Crown winner Sunday as well, taking home the title in the reining class alongside the open western horsemanship class.
- Jenna Tyson (Pottstown, Pa.) also claimed the Regional Championship title in her individual class, advancing to the semifinals in the level II western horsemanship class.
- Tyson earned a second-place ride in the level II ranch riding class, advancing to the semifinals as well.
- Kada Tillman (Orange Beach, Ala.) earned a second-place ride in the beginner western horsemanship class to advance to the semifinals for a second season, alongside Mikenna Riethmiller (North Collins, N.Y.) who earned the second-place finish in open western horsemanship.

- Morrisville will have four individuals compete across six competition classes at the IHSA National Semifinals, hosted by the University of Findlay on March 22 – 24 in Findlay, Ohio.
